You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I really only know 3 Foghat songs (this, Slow Ride, & that other one lol). But they really were a kick ass band.

I'd like to think that the Dazed and Confused movie helped immortalize them, and Guitar Hero too. I do hear Slow Ride more frequently now than I did anytime since probably the early 80s honestly.

really? you must! It didn't take home any oscars, but it's a lot of fun, esp for anyone who was a kid in the 70s
