After previously releasing her fourth studio album internationally, Nneka will bring Soul Is Heavy to the U.S. in early 2012.

She's again teamed up with the folks at Decon, who put out her first album in the States, Concrete Jungle, last year. They will release Soul Is Heavy Feb. 28, when Nneka's fans will get to hear her rapping and singing alongside Black Thought, of the Roots, and Ms. Dynamite.

Fans of hip-hop with touches of soul, international flavor, and a strong message should make sure to mark their calendars for this release.
