i recently read an article about benny - seems he's fallen on hard times - but he claims this song was not about 'jailbait' love (my term!). something about it coming into his head b/c the neighbor's family was dysfunctional, broke, the father was constantly yelling at the daughter or some stuff like that. hmmmm .... okay .... i guess.
