R. Kelly has revealed that he has written 32 new chapters for his 'hip-hopera' Trapped In The Closet.

The cult song series has already got 22 chapters, which were released from 2005-2007. He explained recently that he needs funding in order to record the 32 new segments of the song cycle. He said:

"It costs a lot of money to do... so we're actually looking for investors."

Earlier this month the R&B star announced that he will embark on a Love Letter Cruise in October 2012.

The controversial singer will take off on the five-day Caribbean jaunt next year - with tickets ranging in price from $999 to $2,999 – with onboard entertainment set to include gigs, salsa lessons and fashion shows.

He promoted the Love Letter Cruise on his Twitter account and seemed to hint that the trip would be repeated every year, telling his fans: "Come aboard and join me as I sail away on my first annual Love Letter Cruise."

Earlier this year, .R Kelly revealed that he had decided to call his new studio album Black Panties. He claimed that new LP album see him return to the sound of his 1993 debut solo record 12 Play' and will be an "R&B-like Thriller album".

I could see the rise of many comedians over this one.

R Kelly is one of my favorite artists but he should never name drop Michael's album like that. R Kelly is great in his own way and like Michael, he has his own lane that no one can stay in.

I heard Black Panties was the original name for Thriller. The title of an album everyone from 9 to 90 will want!
