concert year It was a good year for concerts starting with our man in Ingelwood .. 6 times i went .. then The Cars .. Heart / Def Leppard .. X .. i love LA.

Sat 2nd July - Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes Bowl (with special guest Alice Cooper!!) - Epic show, but our hour and half drive home turned into an all night crawl as the M1 was screwed. Was supposed to get home at 1.00am...got in at 5.30am!! Needed to catch up on sleep for...
Sun 3rd July - Prince at the Hop Farm...in Kent... a mere 12 miles from my house....amazing!! And he is on stunning form, really pleased to be there and plays all the classics better than I've heard them in years!
4th November - Tinie Tempah at O2 Arena London, surprise for my birthday from my brother. Great show, namely 'cos we managed to get moved from the upper tier right down to the floor five mins before show time....for free!! Boom!!! www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site! | |

I've seen Experience Hendrix twice: in 2008 and 2010. It is an amazing show... They just announced new dates for Spring 2012, and the lineup is CRAZY! Too bad none of those dates are near me. I'm hoping they add more.

It was a slow year with gigs for me.
Erykah Badu in London. Spiritualized in Edinburgh. Yo La Tengo in Edinburgh. Janelle Monae in Glasgow. The Kills in Glasgow.
Looking forward to Spiritualized again in March and whoever else tickles my go nads.

It was great, I caught her London show in 2010 too. This one seemed more loose, very funky, lots of jamming. Great new drummer (he is only 16yrs old). She puts on a good show, it's difficult to take your eyes off of her.

It was my first time seeing Sade and they blew me away. I would definately see them again if I get the chance. I had seen Jeff Beck a few times before and he is always amazing. He is the best guitar player I have ever seen and it was cool seeing Rhonda Smith in his band. | |

2011 was an excellent year for concerts in NYC.
I saw Prince, J'Davey(twice), Meshell Ndegeocello, Sandra St.Victor, Fdeluxe, Elevator Fight, Shyvonne, Jasmine Solano, Def Sound(twice).
I actually had to pass on Nikka Costa & Janelle Monae because I was using up too many vacation days seeing shows!
When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |
