I can't say I own all of her albums but of the ones I have, I think the Emancipation of Mimi was probably her best along with her debut and Glitter. Is she capable of making another album like Mimi? It was a consistently good album with great r&b songs & her voice sounded strong. I'm hoping she has at least one more good album left in her. If not, what's next?

I would suggest you get all the albums before making such a statement. I have them all and her first few albums Were amazing. and I give U MIMI for that was her comeback. And her first xmas album CLASSIC, MUSICBOX was totally amazing as well

Mimi is r&b perfection. Honestly i'm really not into r&b music at all but that album was amazing and such a great come back for her. I'll take your word for it on the ones you mentioned too. Do you think she's capable of more greatness?

Her Christmas LP is also flawless. I got it on rotation now.

Of all the stuff she recorded, this one endured time IMO. Its a shame because Walter Afanasieff's finest hour with her was in this album, and it became their last collaboration ever - save for "Lead The Way" from "Glitter" which it has been said that it was an outtake from "Butterfly".

She needs to work with him again, he was the one who really knew how showcase her talent.

Despite the accolades that Mimi recieved, its hardly her best musically. Hell, I'd even consider "Charmbracalet" superior than "Mimi".

Speaking of CB, I wouldn't mind hearing her doing a WHOLE album worth of materilas in the same vein as this one...

For me, "Mimi" was her second best album. She will never be able to top "Emotions". Vocally and production-wise, shear heaven!!!!!!
