Was watching a clip on you tube of the NAMM musicians clinics and saw displays of famous musicians whose instruments are so closely identified with the artist, that they become endorsers of the instrument manufactuers. What are some of your favorite musicians' favorite instrument? Mine are:

Bootsy Collins-White Star Bass (Don't know the instrument by its real name)

BB King-Lucille

Jimi Hendrix-Fender Stratocaster (He played other guitars like Ibanez and the Flying V but most of most best solos were played on Strats)
