An album would be recorded in Detroit and released next summer, she said.

Franklin is also set on flying to Europe in 2012, she claims to be a bit worn of the tour bus. Additionally she will be putting out albums on her sons Edward and Kecalf and her 18 year old grandson Jordan.

Franklin will appear in concert on Dec. 30th at Foxwoods in CT, and at Radio City Music Hall for 2 nights in February.

Well course its going to be recorded in Detroit, she wouldn't have it any other way. Surprised she's finally considering flying to the UK. It's been a long time coming. We can finally send our Queen across the pond!
