I like The O'Jays version the best. Color Me Badd did this song also. I think New Birth's was a cover too.

I heard this song playing in McDonald's a few days ago, and remember thinking "I bet no one in here even knows who this is". I should mention; this particular McDonald's is right next to a high school.
