You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I don't think he wrote this one, but he sang his butt off on it with the Williams Brothers.

I like this one. Produced with Humberto Gattica. He also (very, very briefly) can be heard on harmonica on "love is on our side again" for literally about 2 seconds (I guess the producer cut him out LOL).

I couldn't find it on Youtube, but Stevie is playing keyboards on Nobody Else in the World But You by Don Henley. It's on this album:

Heres some more that I own and love:

From one of my fav albums, Stevie does harmonica and you can hear him at the end of the song.

Harmonica only.

This has Stevie written all over it. Eddie even sings it like Stevie. Wonder wrote this one (obviously) but did not produce it.

Love this song. So sunny and late 80's LOL. Love the (midi?) guitar solo too. Stevie (or the Morris Machine) is credited to all the instruments on this track. One of my all time fav guitar solo's, assuming it is a guitar of course LOL.

Abit confusing this one. Stevie wrote it for Musical youth in the mid 80's, but did not produce it. Dennis Seaton (vocalist from Musical youth), dropped a solo album in 1990, and oddly, they re-did this track, with Stevie producing it with Nathan Watts. Heres the 1990 version, which I prefer......

.....Like the already mentioned "two in love", its very late 80's (a bonus for me) and kid friendly LOL. I dig the track, but I can see alot of Stevie fans hating it.

Yep, it's Dennis again. This one written with Stephanie Andrews and again produced with Nathan Watts. I love the effects and keyboards on the chorus. Silly song, but I like it LOL. Very Stevie Wonder this one.

Tracks not on youtube that I like:

Smokey Robinson "hold on to love" (1986). Written with Smokey, this song reminds me of Eddie Murphy's "do i" except with "thicker" production for lack of a better word. Stevie did not produce this one, though the keyboards sound just like him. Track is nice but nothing special.

Tyler Collins and Grady Harrell "you and me" (1989). Yep, its Tyler again. Produced and written by Stevie alone, it's a ballad and Iam not a fan of Stevie's ballads LOL. Its a grower though and I like the fact Tyler does not try to imitate Stevie vocally, which Grady sort of tries to do. Immaculately produced as you would expect.

Grady Harrell "If ever" (1989). Like "you and me", its another ballad, but this one is midtempo. Written with Stephanie Andrews and produced by Stevie, the verses are very pretty and I prefer this one over "you and me". Verses are structured somewhat like a lullybye. Again faultless production. Stevie is credited on guitar on this one, though sadly this time it's just session like background work.

Eddie Murphy "Everything's coming up roses". The other Stevie related song on Eddie's album, this was written, arranged and produced by Stevie, whilst "do i" was oddly not produced by him (though it might as well had been). Nice straightforward uplifting 80's pop tune this. As opposed to "do i", which has slight arabic undertones to me structurally which is crazy I know LOL.

Oh, I forgot one of my favs...

Only a co-write with Jermaine and songs producer Michael Omartian this time. Still, the verses remind me of Stevie. Love the horns on this one bytheway, particually on the break. So giddy in it's 80'sness. Great chord change too at the end. Slickly done.

Yes. Forgot that one. Love the album but thats one of the weakest cuts to me LOL. Maurice White did some good stuff on it though. Words by Neil and music by Stevie. Heribe Hancock does the synth solo. That album is chock full of session luminaries LOL....
