This song introduced me to Phyllis. Up until then, I had never heard of her. They were playing "Ain't You Had Enough Love" on the radio like crazy in '87. I went to the record store, picked up the LP and was trying to decide whether or not to buy it. Some guy in the store saw me looking at the album and told me if I purchased it, I won't be sorry.
