Brandy w/T.I. & Miri Ben-Ari - Where You Wanna Be

I liked Kanye's smooth production on "Where You Wanna Be" on this. It features both T.I. and violinist, Miri Ben-Ari:

nod Yup. Most did after hearing it. Jesus Wept. People slept. I was going to post "Necessary" too produced by Organized Noize but I didn't see it on YT. That one had a different kind of vibe for her that I liked.

It did! Ashamed it didn't do as well as I thought it should though. Ironically enough this is considered to be Brandy's autobiographical album though she didn't write a song but I can see how it was real personal though because most of the songs were written from conservations Brandy had with her producers (Timbaland, Kanye, etc).

I remember her album "Full Moon" (which had some great, funky shit on it) wasn't handled well maybe because of the pregnancy but there is no excuse for "Afrodisiac" not doing better. Maybe her target market was already changing by then. idk...

nod She even told rodney jerkins to his face that he didn't give her his best work. For these singers/non-song writers all it takes is one lazy producer and one unsupportive label to set your career back and make you irrelevant.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
RIP Dick Clark, Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Heavy D, and Donna Summer. rose

Yeah it's no wonder Brandy doesn't wanna work with Rodney again...

She's a fool.

Forget Rodney et al. and get back with her original producer!

Would that be Keith Crouch? What has he done lately? (no pun intended) Her debut was pretty much perfect for a 14, 15 year old girl.
