Earth Wind & Fire: Sunday Morning & Pure Gold

The Elements were one of my brothers favorite bands and a lot of the classic joints mentioned here I can recall seeing the album covers in his collection. I however can recall these newer songs that held their own in their legacy of great songs: Plus, its always good to hear Maurice do his thang cool

Thanx for posting...these are two of my favorite EWF songs. "Sunday Morning" brings back memories as I was becoming a major fan of them around 1993, & also since the album it came from "Millennium", helped introduce me to Prince because of the track "Superhero"...Great times...wish people would get as familiar with their later material...They really never stopped. Wonderful songs...& I believe I said before on an older thread, "Illumination" should've been a BIG hit. cool

Guess I'm gonna have to buy the old EW&F CDs one by one or in a lot to replace the LPs I had years ago--since the Columbia Remasters won't be offered on Amazon. mad

You're welcome. "Millennium" was the last record I bought of theirs. I remember liking those brief interludes featuring the kalimba. I couldn't find those on youtube.

Yeah...I don't see anything else from "Millennium"...but it seems like they got almost everything else they ever released...Including this one

"This Is How I Feel" featuring Kelly Rowland,Big Boi & Sleepy Brown...from "Illumination"...You should really check this album out, its one of their funkiest in years. And this song should've been one of the biggest hits of 2005...
