You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Now, that's one I wanted to see and wouldn't you know they would show the damn thing during the drive time home from work so it's already halfway over when I get home and can't record it. But let me be off work on a Saturday and be sitting there with a VCR tape ready to record and they'll show something I've already recorded every single damn time. Andy is a four letter word.

Thank you for the recent updates.
It is a shame that BET or MTV does not do at least a once-a-week broadcast of a quality Soul Train episode as a way to educate viewers about the trends, styles, and enjoyable qualities of R&B music from prior decades in the way those things were experienced when all of that was new.
There was, at least, a 2010 or 2009 MTV special on the subject of Soul Train.
Thank goodness that Bounce is keepin Soul Train alive in several cities and for people who have not been handcuffed by cables systems that do have Bounce TV. Keep up the good info.

Now they're showing two episodes in a row after not showing any the past week (at least not the afternoon ones). But this one is the James Ingram/Levert episode again for the 7th or 8th time. The guests on the previous one mentioned above were 5 Star & Sheila E. The 1st song on this one is Sweet Freedom by Michael McDonald. Uh oh, they were doing good for a while even though it was mostly episodes already shown. This one features Nick Cannon (also shown before), so it's 2000's. I can see why Don quit appearing as host during this period. The episode before this one was Johnnie Taylor & Klymaxx. That Rosie Perez dance performance was available in suburban Chicago area for a couple of months in the late summer/early fall.
She does a good job of making love to the camera while she does her dance.
Thankfully, there were plenty of other women who had this talent during the entire history of Soul Train.
