Soul Train on BounceTV Pt. 2 The other thread is locked so I created anew one to keep us up to date on the artist. After a few weeks of 90s and 2000s they are back in the 80s the past episodes (the AM episodes at least.) Today's guest were The Delle, Pebbles and Gergio from 88. PRINCE: Always and Forever

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

^^It seems when they show an older episode, it's something Bounce has shown already. Thev've shown that one at least twice before. But I don't know when the morning episodes come on though, only the 2 that comes on in the afternoon. Well sometimes they show two. Other times they either show a movie or that gospel concert show Backstage Pass. Bounce shows stuff at random. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

They're showing another one that's been shown before, but this is a good one though. It's the Minnie Riperton tribute. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Finally, a 1970's episode that they haven't shown yet, or at least I haven't seen it. This one has Average White Band and Undisputed Truth. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I've seen that episode before. Don seemed so flabberjasted by the fact that white Scottish dudes could make funky music. Hey...

Undisputed Truth, two days in a row. But this one also has Johnnie Taylor. This is the 4th time they've shown this episode. This was the 1st episode I saw on Bounce. I was flipping through the channels and saw JT, and I left it on. Didn't know this channel existed beforehand, nor that someone was re-running Soul Train. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Right now, this dance troupe called The Eclipse is on. Jeffrey Daniel is one of them. They're dancing to Working Day And Night. Interestingly they're doing the Glide, later known as the Moonwalk. Jeffrey also does an real "Moonwalk" which is doing the Glide in a circular movement in one spot. At this point Jeffrey was already in Shalamar and not a regular ST dancer. This episode has been shown before though. The music guests are The Bar-Kays and McFadden & Whitehead. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Today is The Intruders & Foster Sylvers. They've shown this one before, but I don't mind watching these re-showings. At least Bounce has dumped the 1990s and 2000s episodes for now. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Now watching the episode with Letta Mbulu, B.T.Express and Enchantment. Funny seeing Jody Watley & Jeffrey Daniel dance in the Soul Train line to Shalamar's "Uptown Festival", since they would later join the group. Hey...
