It's strange that it's not available yet.The holiday shopping season is upon us,and this will make an excellent Christmas present for some people.Anyway...here's some info from a fan (Rob1965) on another forum....

I've heard the track Insensitive and it sounds pretty good. At least it's great to hear Maurice's voice in top form again.
The other song, Eyes of Hope is a 1 minute instrumental interlude which is forgettable.
The discs on this set don't include the bonus tracks that were on the remastered versions of I Am, All 'n All, etc.
So, is the box set worth the money for us fans who already have everything?
My take on this is: no.
Insensitive is an uptempo-song. Eyes Of Hope is a mid tempo instrumental track and lasts for about a minute and a half.
This track sounds like it could've appeared on any random David Foster-album, BTW.

For those who don't have such extensive EWF-collections as most people on this board, this collection is a great set. But for most of us in here, this set contains too little new stuff to get really excited. And the 40 page booklet is nice, but they may keep it for that price.

well I can't wait because I don't have ANYTHING by EWF. So to me it is a great deal. I'm afraid that the company is going to realize that it is a great deal and go up TREMENDOUSLY on the price.

How old is the thread? Don't threads automatically expire after 2 months here?

it was LOCKED.

It is still on my recent post list. I checked it and I could not post a new reply on that thread.

However, "Mayte, Mayte, Mayte" thread is older and still active.

Don't know, it's been like that since I've been here. Other music sites I've been on, the threads never expire. The only reason a thread is closed on the other sites is because mods lock it because of arguments.

No

pout So much about it being available in November. I don't think you can even pre-order it now.

Makes no sense disbelief Columbia is losing alot of money by not having this thing available in stores right now.I wonder what the delay is all about?

Has anyone actually received the CD's from Pop Market? Because if they have, then it is amazon and not Columbia that is holding it up.

when this was first announced,I was going to buy myself a copy. But if you're a diehard fan who already owns all the albums, this set isn't necessary. The CDs don't even include the bonus tracks that are featured on the previously remastered CDs.Furthermore, the bonus disc 'Constellations' isn't so special, either. Not as much rare stuff as I would have liked.

I agree, this set is useless for those of us who already have the albums.I'd like to see an EW&F box set devoted strictly to rarities and live recordings.
