Goldfrapp release new single, Greatest Hits due out in February
Press release: The Singles, is the first compilation from the band, taking in the cinematic electronica of their Mercury shortlisted debut album Felt Mountain, through the electro glam of Black Cherry, the Grammy nominated, half-million selling dance pop of Supernature, the Pagan, electro-folk of Seventh Tree and last year’s, top 10 album, the hands-in-the-air, retro-futuristic Head First.
And here is the first new single [Edited 12/8/11 17:26pm] 2012: The Queen Returns

I hope there is a special edition with the videos or something. Great collection of tracks from an amazing duo. Hope they return with a new studio album soon, can't wait to see them live again. 3121... Don't U Wanna Come?

She has one of the most amazing voices. Her partner knows how to craft music around it. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

They lost me after Black Cherry.

I felt the opposite. Supernature was when I declared them gods.

Yes, my friend is a big fan of theirs, it was Supernature that made her really take notice of them. I still listened to the albums post Black Cherry, but I never bought them. Those first two albums are near perfect imo.
However, we did go and see them live around Supernature and a good time was had by all. They put on a nifty wee show.

And I thought Seventh Tree topped Supernature. Head First was good, but a little empty. They took a step backward there.

Funny that, I quite like Seventh Tree. It seems (at least to my ears) to be closer (in some ways) to Felt Mountain than any other of their albums.

It is indeed closer to Felt Mountian than any of their other albums, but oddly enough, Felt Mountain is their album I like the least and Seventh Tree is their album I like the most.
