Funkadelic George Clinton Seeks Justice http://www.allvoices.com/...ks-justice
While some musicians get their 15 minutes of fame with one hit wonders, there are other musicians who continue to make music and tour. One such musician is 70 year old George Clinton also known as Parliament Funkadelic. Clinton is the latest, in what is becoming a disturbing trend, to file a suits for the loss of royalties, copyright infringement, and intellectual property theft from the very people who were supposed to ensure the success and safety of those musicians. For Clinton it is about more than just the money, he is seeking to right what he calls, “decades of wrongs.” In the suit Clinton is seeking damages and permanent injunctions for the unauthorized use, theft, and exploitation of his music. But Clinton’s lawyers are planning to go even further claiming that they will show decades of corrupt business, fraudulent copyright filings, and a web of international conspiracy. Speaking on the suit Clinton said, “I worked my entire career to make music, and I trusted that established companies and some top level industry executives would not lie, steal or chat. I have been working with Congressmen, elected officials and quality lawyers in order to right a ton of wrongs; not just for me, but for songwriters, composers, and copyright holders everywhere.”
This is sad that another legend is not getting the money owed to them.

I feel for him. Unfortunately he's one of many creative artists who trusted any and everyone when it came to his financial stability and that fucked him over...
