nod that's exactly what I was thinking.It reminds me of ELO's "Mr.Blue Sky",which Mayer actually covered earlier this year.

I didn't even know who Mayer Hawthorne was until I heard him open for Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars this year. I preferred his set over most of Bruno's songs. Besides, I could actally hear the music; it wasn't distorted by the piercing shrieks of rabid teenage girls. razz lol

Cool song and video.

It does sound a bit like ELO just like his last single sounding like Darryl Hall - all great stuff.

On that note if you havent seen Mayer performing on Darryl Halls House check it out - awesome!

I discovered him last year when one of my Facebook friends mentioned that I should check out his album.I heard a few sound samples and bought it immediately.I like his style of retro-soul.
