It happens every once and awhile, but when it happens, I get stuck to the point that nothing else sounds good at the moment, as much as i try to advance to the next song. How about when you get a song that you hate stuck in your head. When Keisha'a song Tick Tock got stuck in my head I wanted to shoot myself.

I was so addicted to this when it first came out.

I do that with Janelle Monae's Cold War, except I try to ration the number of times I hit repeat because I soooo don't want to get sick of that song. It doesn't help that it's kind of short and every time it ends I'm all, "Damn, I thought we were just getting started!"

I usually do not listen to the same song more than 2 times in a row, because in a world so much beautiful music, I see no reason to go in cycles, but there are some songs that I can listen to on repeat for more than 10 times in a row, because I'm an absolute fanatic of these songs , they have something magical for me

OMG! It is contagious.
I listen to this song for the fourth consecutive time, although I am absolutely no fan of Mylene.

What usually happens with me is i become obsessed with the distinctive sound of a band before i become obsessed with any particular song from that band. Not always, but it does happen quite a bit.

Some bands(or singers) have interesting, catchy, songs but they don't necessarily have a distinctive sound or voice. A lot of bands that i can't live without now are bands that have a overall 'cool sound', as oppose to classic, masterpiece songs.

always..yesterday I came across this 12" mix of Love Shack...I dare u all 2 listen 2 this and not 2 dance...

It happened with "Lady In My Life" by Michael and again with "Butterflies". I just couldn't get enough of those songs and to this day, still am obsessed.

Yes. I actually enjoy being "in the zone" when listening to a well written song. I like to discover new parts or little nuances that I didn't notice before.

My garbage computer won't allow me to view videos, but yes, I get obsessed with songs often, but it's usually only when I first discover a song, hardly ever do I become obsessed with a song I've known for years.
