I've purchased songs from Drew and Rachel Crow. No one else just yet. I am more likely to buy Rachel's music than Marcus'. But it all boils down to voice and song genre you're into.

I hate to say this but I think I'm about done with Reality Sing-offs...I stopped watching "American Idol" before the "Sparks" girl won...I might tune if for 5-min or less here and there...Just doesnt move me like it did years ago...

The ONLY tid-bits of "X-Factor" I've seen were clips shown on talk-shows..I LOVE Simon & Paula but they're not enough to make me watch..

What's that NBC sing-off show with Christina Agulera & Cee-Lo? I saw the 5-min show down with Frenchie & Tamalyn then I changed the station...

I respect your opinion. But I'm not a fan of the opinions of the voting majority. The voting majority were responsible for how Jennifer got screwed on AI season 3 and I'll never forget it.

The studio audience disagree with the voters. Did you not hear the story about the boos they gave to Nicole?!? lol Nicole has to sell-out first in order for the voters to have the final say (which pretty much put the blood on their hands).

And anyway, my opinion about Rachel & Marcus don't count because I don't ever watch X-Factor.

But I do have an opinion about what I like when it comes to singing. I'm more in favor of the ways of the old-school.

I agree on this, i dont like america's voting record for the most part, George Bush in 2004, with 2 wars going and 3,000 dead and the economy tanking they re-elected the man they said stole in 2000? As for Jennifer Hudson, same thing in a way, worse was Katharine McPhee getting outvoted by Taylor Hicks? Really, then it was found out that most voted for HICKS because they felt that McPhee had an attitude? really i thought it was about singing, not about your look or the way you talked, thats another reason American shouldnt pick anything, as George Carlin said, Coke or pepsi thats the only choice you get.

I feel this whole thing honestly was staged, Paula and Nicole looked like they were acting, and i wouldnt doubt it, because Simon would do ANYTHING FOR RATINGS, especially with a show on the fence of being cancelled. Its already got a huge amount of YouTUbe Hits for the BS and the crying and going on the ground like it was sunday in a baptist church. Its PURE NONSENSE, and the fact that people care is even worse, WHO GIVES A SHIT, your 13, get over it, life is gonna get alot tougher, dont start crying now. if it was up to me, i wouldnt vote for anyone, someone mentioned this other dude, is better than Usher and Chris Brown, and what is that saying? do we need another carbon copy artist? and then we complain why the music and media sucks ass, well, look at this nonsense on tv.

I thought Marcus did a great job on Donny Hathaway the first night. Rachel sang very well the second night.

LA Reid made a comment that he heard Hollywood was circling the wagons in regards to Rachel. He said that maybe he shouldn't say that, but did anyway. Maybe that comment hurt her in the voting, where people believed she didn't need their votes.

She wanted to win the $5,000,000.00 to provide for her financially challenged family. She assumed (rightfully so) that she was one of the favorites to win the whole thing and was devastated when she didn't. Don't forget that she is only thirteen and hers was a thirteen year old's reaction.

Meh

It's all manufactured soulless tripe already

From the way they talk to the way they dress , they are marketed as a product

And once they sign a contract they too will fall into the same braindead manufactured drivel that's on the radio nowadays , only never to be heard of again , after a year or 2

sorry , not trying to sound negative but that's how i see it

It's a shame , because there really are talented people on those shows sometimes

I was disappointed that Rachel was booted out, and I couldn't take Nicole's bs seriously. I can't see what was so hard for her to decide, when she knew Rachel sang her song better than Marcus. Marcus' performance was not up to par. I liked Rachel's energy and feels she has a strong voice and could have won this show. I agree with the orger who stated that Nicole just wanted to screw over Simon.

I'm going by the vocals, strictly vocals....they blow these non sanging ass tarts off the map.

If this is what I have to watch to hear some good singers live, then so be it.

They sound better than some people who are at the top of the charts, getting Grammys and accolades.

They may not not be the acceptable look like Josh the burrito maker guy, or the right age, such as Leroy bell, who is sixty, but they sound better.

Marcus singing Donny Hathaway was better than professional artists his age that I saw on the Soul Train Awards a few weeks ago.

dMy main point is that THIS latest controversy is the best thing that could happen because now X-Factor USA has better their chances of getting cancelled after only one season.

X Factor USA has already been renewed for a 2nd season. In the US, controversies like this lead to more viewiership, not less. Even if people say they are done with the show, they continue to watch.

Drew was cut because she was zzz She was a good singer, but she was a dull performer. With a little work, she will be great.
