You could tell Cube was HUNGRY. After 1994, he chilled... love some of his later shit though like "We Be Clubbin'" for instance.
I never bought anything past the War Disc (or the two record set of it, anyway) and I don't think that was on there. But I did like that song.
He was definitely hungry at the beginning and he had something to prove when he left NWA. But it was also his fearlessness. Some of the shit on those albums still makes me go, "Damn! Ice Cube mad!" |

Certainly true. Let's not forget the EP 'Kill at Will'. It also came out in '90. Cube was my favorite rapper at the time and with good reason. Good music makes me happy. |
