I usually find TA's posts heavy handed and obnoxious:

But Johnny Winter is the baddest rock n roll guitar player that ever

For me his first four albums are all great. I would also recommend a live album. Maybe the Together: Live album with Edgar or the Live at the Fillmore East album that was released a few years ago.

The three studio albums and one live album that he did with Muddy Waters are all great too.

I would tend to agree.

The first four sets of clips i've posted are from his first four albums.
And the Muddy Waters collabs are good also.
