LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HIM
He does some fantatsic blues songs. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

Nice! One of my favorite Johnny Winter songs is:

And "Bony Moronie" (which I know is a cover):
There's a better live version of it from a German TV show but the whack German TV host cuts in during the guitar solo, LOL. [Edited 12/9/11 9:01am] [Edited 12/9/11 9:04am]

I usually find TA's posts heavy handed and obnoxious:
But Johnny Winter is the baddest rock n roll guitar player that ever lived. Period. So it's good to see him get some love aroun'yeah.
Props to TA for once. | |

Which two have you got?
For me his first four albums are all great. I would also recommend a live album. Maybe the Together: Live album with Edgar or the Live at the Fillmore East album that was released a few years ago.
The three studio albums and one live album that he did with Muddy Waters are all great too.

I would tend to agree. "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."
