LOOOOVE White Heat! For some reason, this track really hit me hard this year, and we have Jackie Jackson on backup vocals.

Dress You Up is great, love that bassline and guitar and bridge, and all else. It's one of the first Madonna videos that really got me excited over her when I was a kiddie....I wanted to wear 2 different earrings, and have a dorky video of myself holding up two keychains near each and talking about it I was trying to impress my older cousin who loved Madonna that I Know my shit too despite being younger than her or something and she was loving it She was into Vogue-Erotica Madonna at the time, and I was into 80's Madonna at the time, and had only heard Vogue and Deeper & Deeper a few times then.

You couldn't NOT hear Vogue when it came out. It was played everywhere--on the radio, in the stores, at the bars, and even in cars blasting music while zooming down the street...

[and yes that's a double negative!]

yeah I do remember it being popular and seeing the video a few times in 1990 when my mom was watching it and it was performed at some talent show though I didn't realize it until I found the tape years later, with them doing janet-ish chair moves! I rediscovered the song 93-ish and loved the video poster my cuz had and then I was loving it and went nuts for it.
