Lil' Kim has announced the release of an upcoming five-track EP, set to impact around the holidays.

Taking to Twitter to reveal the project, Kimmy Blanco broke news of the release yesterday. She wrote:

"#TeamLilKim For the Holidays I'm releasing a 5 song EP for yall as a preview of what's to come in 2012 & so on 4rm Lil' Kim !!!!!"

Kim recently released her new single "I Am Not the One," which is currently available on iTunes.

She last released her studio album The Naked Truth in 2005, and most recently dropped her mixtape Black Friday in February 2011.

Kimmy said she will announce a new record deal in early January, with an album to follow.

Agree... at least that was her and she didnt front about it. Minaj clearly just sells a product and image... she has a nice flow but lyrically she is not impressive whatsoever...

Nicki is fun,spunky and doesn't take herself too seriously.Kim comes across as a bitter,old,jealous witch.

She did and it was kind of embarassing to watch...think she moved on now though finally. However ...Nicki does not have stage presence and personality liek Kim does...Kim's radio and tv interviews have been top notch along with her live per4mances this year.

Nicki I kind of get a cold vibe from her live wise. Although like most people say she is a different type of rapper than Lil Kim...different personality too....same clothing. Nicki has given dabs on taking her style at least.
