Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, & Elmer Fudd ~ A Corny Concerto You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |

I have that on DVD. I don't get people filming a TV and putting it on Youtube, though. Yeah, my cousin's had it on DVD and we would watch this almost everytime I came to stay.
I don't get why folks do that either. Unless it's something that rarely comes on and they chose to record it like that cuz it's their only chance for a long time.....I don't see the point. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

Maybe it's some kind of way of getting around the automatic copyright detectors, like people speeding up songs from Warner Brothers. All those classic cartoons from Warners and MGM (Tom and Jerry) had 50 piece orchastra's LOL. No wonder the music is so good. That and the great musical directors of Carl Stalling (WB) and Scott Bradley (MGM) who did some great work with the original Tom and Jerry cartoons.
It helped that both film studio's had a library of songs to dig into any time. Those WB and MGM cartoons are full of little snippits of then popular songs owned by WB and MGM. It was self promotion. So if you know popular music and the 30's and 40's, you would recognize alot of the songs and pieces in those cartoons, be it if the characters are singing them (bugs is often singing some shit LOL), or just a short instrumental piece here and there. That and they dipped into public domain music, like some of the classical pieces.
Heres an interesting one that will never get an official release for obvious reasons. I swear my Dad has a variation of this song by the Ink Spots, but this version is much livlier. The band (and animation) is great. Shame about the stereotypes though the kid himself actually looks quite realistic (to me).
