Allmusic is often negligent in that area.
Some good friends of mine have credits that are all jacked up on that site.
I've spoken to the Recording Academy about this (who use the site to confirm credits) and supposedly they're "working on it". rolleyes

Since Steve Gadd did play on other cuts on the album, let's just go with it. wink

thumbs up! I've searched high and low for a L.A. Carnival YT clip for Flyin'. The only clip I've seen, with Flyin' was from a docu. with a live segment feat. Leslie & Lester on vocals.

I remember those Flyin' clips which suddenly vanished.
(That's why I quickly made the clip to use in this thread...lurking )

That doc was especially sad for me on a personal level.
To see this talented musician working as a handyman. disbelief

In the early 80s I was lucky enough to be involved in a few jam sessions with Lester.
The guy could effortlessly come up with these gospel-like grooves (much like Minute By Minute).
I have one of these jam sessions on a cassette tape somewhere.

No Doubt, he has some cool vocals. His tone kinda reminds me of Hamish Stuart's.
A Handyman he should not be.
