The Queen of Pop Madonna who is the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2010 ad campaign, was on location shooting the Fall 2010 ad campaign. It’s been reported she’s shooting with Steven Klein. Stefano Gabbana was also on location twittering about how well the shoot was going despite the paparazzi following them.

Madonna has joined forces with Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana to showcase their spring/summer 2010 collection in the brand’s forthcoming ad campaign. The adverts will be Sicilian-themed and were shot in Brooklyn, New York, by renowned fashion photographer Stephen Klein. “To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in a statement. Madonna first met Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce back in the early 90’s on the set of the movie Dick Tracey. D&G designed the costumes for Madonna’s 1993 “The Girlie Show Tour” as well as last year’s “Sticky & Sweet” trek around the globe. Amazingly, after a decade and a half of appearing in Dolce & Gabbana clothing, this is the first time Madonna has modelled in the label’s ad campaign.

She looks really good here.....I don't mean to go off topic, but sometimes seeing her out and about dressed up makes me miss certain other artists her age no longer here, the two have been in my top 3 for ages and it kind of hurts though I'm glad she's living her life and I'm looking forward to the new album.
I regret not going to TIFF, I forgot she would be there. And I would have been the first to tell you guys if she acted mean to fans or not, though I didn't believe that rumor.

Where is Madonna in 2012? Hopefully making a pitstop performance in my town! "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

When the news broke this week that Madonna had chosen Cirque du Soleil and another Montreal company, Moment Factory to help her create a stunning Super Bowl halftime act, it grabbed headlines around the world. The Cirque du Soleil team has been working with Madonna for about three weeks now, Jacques Méthé - executive producer and general manager of special events and images at Cirque du Soleil. Madonna’s team initiated the deal although the fact that Jamie King, who just directed the Cirque’s Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour, is also involved makes it seem like it’s all in the family. Moment Factory was brought board by the Cirque to handle the projections and multimedia side of the number. The Cirque team has been working with Madonna for about three weeks now. Méthé confessed to The Montreal Gazette… “We delivered a pre-game Super Bowl number for them in Miami several years ago. We do anywhere between 30 and 60 events every year, the size of which differ greatly. Our role in this is to contribute ideas and components to the scenario. It is our imagination that is solicited here. It’s all about Madonna. We leave it to her to decide if and when she wants to reveal anything. This is a Madonna event that we’re contributing to. It’s not about Cirque, it’s about Madonna. The part we’re playing there is really in the creative content and the follow-up, until delivery.”

Weinstein Company, which produced The King's Speech, has now acquired the film rights for W.E. directed by Madonna, a love story that spans 60 years and revolves around the romance of Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII. The film stars plenty of familiar faces: Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough, James D'arcy, Oscar Isaac, Richard Coyle, James Fox, Laurence Fox, Natalie Dormer, Judy Parfitt and Geoffrey Palmer. Madonna's daughter Lola is also in the cast as the younger counterpart of Cornish's character.
“W.E. is about the nature of true love, and the sacrifices and compromises that are often made,” Madonna said in a press release. “I’ve wanted to tell this story for a very long time, and bringing it to life has been a great adventure for me. I’m looking forward to working with Harvey [Weinstein] and The Weinstein Company on this film.”
For his part, Weinstein teases that moviegoers should look forward to seeing what Madonna has to offer: “Madonna has really come into her own as a filmmaker with W.E. … She’s taken one of the most famous romances of the 20th century and brought it to life in a smart, sexy and thoroughly modern way. It’s a terrific addition to our U.S. release slate."

Madonna wants to be a Provocateur
http://wonderwall.msn.com...51.gallery
On her latest adventure: "Making movies is really hard. It's the hardest thing I've ever done."
On what she's looking for in a man: "I don't necessarily like to use the word lover because it sounds like they just come over and have sex with you. I aspire to more than that, and I need more than that. Someone to share my inner life with. That's extremely important. It's also important that my children admire and respect this partner that I would choose for myself." On how people focus on her age:"I find whenever someone writes anything about me, my age is right after my name. It's almost like they're saying, 'Here she is, but remember she's this age, so she's not that relevant anymore.' Or 'Let's punish her by reminding her and everyone else.' When you put someone's age down, you're limiting them." On what she's looking for in life:"To have fun -- that's the main issue. To continue to be a provocateur, to do what we perceive as the realm of young people, to provoke, to be rebellious, to start a revolution."
