Oh HELL naw! Not only is it one of her worst songs ever, it's also one of the worst songs ever in general. She absolutely ruined that song with her caterwalling ass.

No one can ever accuse you of being unreliable, lol.

No DVD's yet, they did TV movies and had kids tapes and dolls during the second half of the show airing.

Didn't they have a clothing line at Walmart at the time also?

I don't think we had a Walmart here yet, though we had a K-Mart and Bi-Way. The earliest I saw a Walmart was in 94 or 95.

lol Ya'll are too funny. My favorite Whitney song to this day is 'You Give Good Love'...that's the song that made me love her. mushy I actually like 'I Have Nothing' more than 'I Will Always Love You' but it's still one of the best covers in music history. Dolly may have wrote it but Whitney ultimately made it one of the biggest songs in recorded music history.

Sadly, after hearing her butcher the song a few years ago during an overseas concert, the magic of this great tune died for me. I actually cried while hearing her 'new rendition' of the song at work. Forget all the crack/coke/pot/'Bobby and Whitney' reality show mess, hearing that song slowly massacred and gutted like a pig by the woman who made it so big was when I felt that Whitney had officially hit her bottom. That other stuff I was able to forgive, but damn Whitney really, you just had to go and fuck up your own damn masterpiece. disbelief I'm still working hard at trying to forgive her for that shit; it's a day-to-day challenge. She's slowly coming back...even though she'll never have what she once did vocally...thanks crack, thanks alot sad

Now while I consider Aretha the best female singer ever, when Whitney got good, she got 10X's better than Aretha. This (along with her cover of Star Spangled Banner) has some of (if not the most) the most emotional and amazing vocals ever recorded. Also who else could make a hit song who's fist minute lacks instrumentation? Truly she turned a stupid song into a mastepiece. She's called "The Voice" for a reason.

I will never forget when this song was out. My sister was pregnant and we were sitting home one morning and she went into labor. I was driving her to the hospital and she was in the car having labor pains. This song came on the radio and she said...."Oh Lord, turn that fucking shit off".... I laughed and I turned it up loud right when that part where she goes...."And IIIIIIIIIIIII will always...".......Then my sister started yelling...."Bastard, turn that fucking shit off! Not only do I hate that damn song but I hate that fucking bitch too!". falloff

Proof neither one of you was adopted I suppose. wink My sister's pet name for me was "Bastard," too. lol
