so one time, i downloaded some prince singles, 'cause i had no digital versions and didn't want to make any - (sorry if anyone hates me for downloading official material in that context)

point is; with the 'If I Was Your Girlfriend' single, it contains one version of the track, shockadelica and then another titled 'If I Was..." etc but - it's a remix of Alexander O'Neal's 'Shame'.

whilst it obviously never existed on a Prince single and as far as I know never existed anywhere else...

does anyone know anything about it? i don't know anything much about O'Neal.

So yeah, can anyone help ?

Never heard of a remix of "Shame"....but I loooove that song!

absolutely fantastic song - normal and the remix - i kind of dig the remix more, maybe just 'cause it's what i first heard. either way, love it!
