My first music player was something like this

soon I graduated to something like this, putting the headphones over the microphone to record my brother's records from his stereo

The first one I got to listen to up close belonged to my Grandmother...

I used to see this kind of stereo at a lot of people's house, my mom had one too. My grandmother still has hers. Theirs had an 8-track on it as well. But I've never seen one with a TV on it. The part in the middle was a space you stored your records.

Yeah we used to have one that was kind of like this, with no TV, and it only played records and the radio.

My Grandmother had one like that and it BUMPED! I remember playing Van Halen's 1984 on it (when I was 12) and being blown away by the bass drum sound at the beginning of Hot For Teacher.
