As previously reported, Madonna is set to release her follow-up to 2009′s Hard Candy early next year.

We’ve already heard a demo of the album’s lead single, Give Me All Your Love”, and now Idolator points us to a stream of another supposed album track, “Masterpiece”.

Over minimal production, courtesy of William Orbit, and reflective instrumentation, the “Material Girl”/Queen of Pop returns rather quietly, concluding that “nothing’s indestructible.”

It’s not the sort of track to blow the roof off an arena, but if you dug her previous singles like “Frozen” or “You’ll See”, this will be an easy sell.

you know, she used to actually be a pretty decent lyricist. I wonder what's happened

also, I'm really sick of this over-enunciating. and that vocal training really ruined her. she used to put her balls into her vocals. while technically more proficient now, I miss the days when she didn't know how to breathe or sing and she'd belt out her vocals in a torch-singer kind of way.

While this is no Frozen. Skin, You'll See or Take A Bow. It is the best song i have heard her come out with in awhile

I like the lyrics, it's not that different from what she's done in the past. Taylor swift is a very stupid and irrelevant comparison.

As for the track, I can't get into it, but I'm remembering how Beat Goes On turned out in the end, I think it's one of her best tracks ever.

It's a great song. I heard this is only a demo , plus it's in LQ.. So... I think the final version will be amazing.

Wouldn't know, would never listen to that.

I like it it's like "Miles Away" meets "To Have And Not To Hold".Very nice! It's refreshing to finally hear a real ballad from her again.

It plays at the end credits of W.E. but I think she would be crazy not to include it on her upcoming album.

Taylor's style isn't the same as Madonna's, I still don't understand the comparison.

loving it, very beautifully understated ballad...that's what she's going for here. Definitely sounds like it could have been part of the American Life or Ray of Light period.

has she been taking singing lessons from Jennifer Lopez? she sounds god awful there. and I usually find her to sound best on ballads.

Hard Candy was released in 08 not 09..i'm not even a fan but even I know that....surprised the reporter made such a dumb mistake....

Well, compared to EL 2011, this IS a masterpiece......

(and i'm not really a Madonna fan!)
