Just met Shock G after the Digital Underground concert in LA. I know he's a big Prince fan, so I brought a disk of the birthday show to give to him (I paid an extra $15 for the meet-and-greet). I was quite nervous thinking he'd think I was weird, but when I explained to him what it was, he flipped out. He was seriously excited. He yelled to his crew "hey, you'll never believe what I got!" He was a super nice guy, talking to each of us for several minutes. I took a picture with him and he insisted I get another one.

So if his next song samples "our destiny" or "roadhouse garden," you know where he got it from.

what a cool story!

My buddy just sent me the pictures. I see why he insisted that we get another shot; in the first picture, he's pointing at someone off camera. That's a good dude to make sure the picture comes out good. I don't know how many other people would do that.

That birthday show is awesome but I am stoked you met Shock G. I think he's the only celebrity left on my list to meet.
