Even Etta James confirmed that. She said when she saw his body at the funeral home, it looked like his head was nearly separated from his shoulders, his hands crushed and nose mangled. I refuse to be believe that a broomstick did all of that. A rundown motel would be the perfect place for something like this to happed.

Getting back to Hendrix and the mob, it's also been rumoured (in recent years) that Jeffrey could have collected more $$ with Jimi dead than alive. Speculation is that Jimi didn't die of drugs but that he was killed by the mob. The rumours that the alcohol and barbituates in Jimi really wasn't enough to kill a person. But again that's just a rumour.
