I hate biopics. This is going to be as predictable as Passion of the Christ.

Well what the fuck was that Behind The Music shit for and all those interview specials and the video diary from Lisa's last days? I feel like we've seen the movie already. I know Chili and Tionne need to get some checks but dayum....is this the right thing to do since Left Eye is dead? What about a Life After episode? VH1 and movies about musical artists just don't jive if you know what I mean. I can't imagine who would play Left Eye and who is pretty and petite enough to play Chili. This stinks already. sad

I was just getting ready to say this. Plus, I'd be curious if Crystal (the original C in TLC that was "fired" by LaFACE) had any input into this movie. lol

"I was put out because I wasn't cute enough!"

Oh dayum I forgot about her! I believe her though.

Keisha looks nothing like Chili. Surely there are other short black

Eve looks nothing like and sounds nothing like T-Boz

Love me some Raven but she is too chunky to play the very slender and athletic Left Eye.

I mean, if we suspend all belief and common sense I'm sure that type of cast could work. I just have these two little problems called EYES!

Left Eye is one of the co-writers of Word 2 The Badd.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Angela Bassett looks nothing like Tina Turner or Katherine Jackson. Leon looks nothing like David Ruffin or Little Richard either. Nor does Kurt Russell/Elvis Presley, Sidney Poitier/Thurgood Marshall, Will Smith/Muhammad Ali, Lou Diamond Phillips/Richie Valens, Jimmy Stewart/Charles Lindbergh, Jason Scott Lee/Bruce Lee, Henry Fonda/Abe Lincoln, John Wayne/Genghis Khan, and so on.

I saw a resemblance with those actors and the persons they portrayed. As an avid movie goer, I still say a resemblance is important to make the audience believe they are seeing that person otherwise its just another performance and not the telling of one's life story. I believed Will Smith as Ali because he looked like him and sounded like him. Of all those, Will made the best transformation and became the character he played. He should have won an Oscar.
