I don't call myself a fan, but have followed her without meaning to from the beginning the way a critic would have. I guess I'm her Roger Friedman

Funny thing is, though she has a lot of really catchy songs, her singing and dancing is not good, JMO. She's just a pretty girl when she does it, and though we have similar influences in music, she just rips off certain artists way too much without being original. She's just fun, unserious, entertainment but I do love the songs Shadow, Everytime, and she used to have a good voice when on the Disney Channel and just some shining moments here and there

I feel bad she's depressed cause I don't wish that on anyone, and it's weird too cause mine got really bad around the same age as hers did publicly and I feel it's sad she's not enjoying performing and still does it and should just retire now. Not cause of age or having kids, but cause she simply doesn't enjoy it.

Having that said, I bought In The Zone for Madonna and ended up liking the whole album, nasally vocals aside.
