You can't say anything about any group of people any more. I'm black and gay and I have always felt blacks were way too sensitive. If you are not black, you can't say or do anything even remotely negative about blacks without having a mob come after you. If you are not black and you say something like blacks are better basketball players than whites, then be prepared to lose your life over it. biggrin

Threads of this nature typically bring all the ill educated clueless cunts out to play.

It's no wonder Prince is such a cock when most of his fans are too. Like attracts like and all that.

Maybe that was a bit harsh... then again, no. If folk are offended by what I said then they're just being 'too sensitive'.

SAY THAT!!!

LGBT people today are too sensitive. You should be able to say what you want without some entire group demanding an apology. I think if individual gays choose not to support that person, fine – but I think it’s stupid of people to allow a group of people to polarize them by TELLING them to be offended. why it’s “funny” to make fun of obesity, stereotype jokes and all that, but one thing said about somebody being gay is “hate speech”.

I don't think obesity or stereotype jokes are funny...

Let me ask you a question ... are you gay? and if so do you take GAY jokes to heart?

GTFOH!!

Most pro-Zionist Jews are the same way to an extent. The bottom line is that pro-Zionist Jews & LGBTs are not letting jackshit slide in the 21st century. If a person makes a negative comment about these factions (regardless if it's the true OR a lie), that person will get called out on it and suffer serious career setbacks for it. neutral

Yes, and not nessesarily. I can laugh at a gay joke, but it has to be a funny one.

There isn't anything funny about Tracy Morgan threatening to stab his son if he came out. Where is the humor in that?

Well what the fuck did you say about Gay people?

Tell me, I dare you.

Cause I don't think it too sensitive to defend the diginity of the LGBT community when country's like Uganda want to put gays to death, when our teenagers are killing themeselves, when our partners are denied hospital visitation, when our heroes have been killed, when our brothers and sisters aren't always safe watching the street.

When the LGBT community has every single privalege a straight person has, then maybe we'll stop being "too sensitive"

[Edited 11/28/11 10:00am]

But at least LBGT have plenty of power in the music industry.

Have you ever found any of Eddie Murphy's gay jokes from the 1980's funny?

Not one bit.

How do you think Eddie would feel about a white comedian walking around with a bit that starts "Do you know who would make a funny nigger"

I'm mainly addressing T.I.'s comments about how freedom of speech should be exercised w/o getting trounced upon by those who oppose. Don Imus said something that a lot of people found insulting. Yet, T.I. did not stand up for Don Imus's right for free speech. Probably because he did not agree with what Don Imus said. If you are going to start going on about how free speech needs to be protected, then you have to support it all, even the ones you don't agree with.

though, you know racist white folk say the same about african americans all day just not in public!

????? Sorry, you lost me here.

If we have that much power in the hip hop industry, than why isn't there a popular openly gay rapper? Why do the biggest rappers in the game continue to release homophobic lyrics?

1. Lil Wayne is bisexual! eek Remember THIS incident with Baby?:

[img:$uid]http://fresh.wwradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/lil-wayne-baby-kiss-300x199.jpg[/img:$uid]

2. Nicki Minaj is openly bisexual. She already admitted to liking female groupies.

3. Although she hasn't done a hip-hop/rap album in a long while, Queen Latifah is a lesbian. Despite that she never discuss her personal life publicly, it's still common knowledge that she is in a romantic relationship with her female trainer.

Believe it RKJCNE, it's only a matter of time before the world finally have a mainstream successful openly gay male rap artist. The window of opportunity is open.

I do believe you, and I want it to happen, but Nicki has played it very coy on the bi-sexual issue. She keeps letting the rumors fly without giving a real indication either way. She is open, and I feel she uses it to sell an image. Wayne denies it and Queen Latifah won't acknowledge it.
