The Aristocrats - featuring Guthrie Govan I stumbled into Guthrie Govan some years ago while looking for something else on YouTube. He had a series of videos where he would play against tracks supposedly created in the style of a number well known players. Here in the band context of The Aristocrats, he shows he's not just another shredder type but can actually write interesting compositions. ...Sweaty Knockers & Bad Asteroid ...Furtive Jack & Flatlands Guthrie Govan - guitars Bryan Beller - bass Marco Minnemann - drums Music for adventurous listeners tA Tribal Records "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I have no idea how Guthrie gets overlooked so much on these "greatest guitarists" lists. Maybe because he doesn't act like a douchebag?

Agreed. That's why those lists are total b.s. "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."
