ABC Announces Lady Gaga Thanksgiving Special
November 3, 2011
Lady Gaga may be stopping by for Thanksgiving -- on television that is. ABC has scheduled A Very Gaga Thanksgiving to air on Thanksgiving Day, November 24.
The telecast will feature eight performances in front of a small crowd by the singer and a sit-down interview with Katie Couric.
The special, conceived and directed by Lady Gaga, will also feature appearances by Tony Bennett and chef Art Smith.
Lady Gaga will perform a duet with Bennett ("The Lady Is a Tramp") and a slew of her songs, including "Marry the Night," "You and I" and "The Edge of Glory." She will also sing holiday songs like "White Christmas."
For Couric's sit-down, conducted at the singer's alma mater Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan, the the two touch on Lady Gaga's songs and the inspiration behind them. She will also reveal intimate details about her family, friends and her past.

Why do I get the irritating feeling that she's going to wear a turkey outfit? I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Lisa Lampinelli said, "I wonder if for her Thanksgiving special is Gaga going to 'borrow' some recipes from Madonna?" When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

There have been claims that Lisa Lampinelli can eat a whole turkey in one sitting.

So, did anyone watch and if so what is the verdict? I'm about 3/4 of the way through and so far it has been...interesting.

She still captivates my attention.
I DVR'd the special and managed to catch one song ("Bad Romance"). I will watch it in full this afternoon.

Was she channel surfing for a Justin Bierber Christmas special or something on the Disney Channel?

It was very good, even hilarious in some parts. I truly LOLd when she started feeding her face towards the end of "Bad Romance", and still managed to sing the song and do the dance moves! Someone on another website noted that her mic during BR was big, long and flesh-colored (wink-wink). And the wigs during "Hair" made me LOL too. I always love when she stops mid-song to reflect about something from her past. I also liked her rendition of "Orange Colored Sky", and the xtra verse she added to "White Christmas". Actually she changed it to H2 on direct tv and watched a program bout the pilgrims first year in america. She's rather smart for her years. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.
