I am happy he is ok. I don't really understand how a man of his age is getting pnumonia. I know he seems to smoke a good amount of pot, but shit he is smoking way more than most of us if that is a major factor contributing to his medical condition.

Pneumonia can be viral or bacterial. ANYBODY can get it -- it has absolutely nothing to do with age. I had a really nasty case of pneumonia last winter, and I hadn't had so much as a cold in the six years before it. That shit lasted 3 weeks; I've never been sick that long in my life.

Thank you. Age has nothing to do with a person catching Pneumonia. I had a case of "walking" pneumonia when I was 16, and though I didn't have to be hospitalized for it, I was put on some pretty heavy meds and it took me a whole month to recover. My grandfather had pnuemonia a year ago and was hospitalized for nearly a month and a half for treatement (he nearly died) and then another 2 months of rehab and he's 85. A friend of mine's son is 34 and is currently in the hospital right now recovering from Pneumonia. So the illness definitely doesn't discriminate no matter what kind of pnuemonia you are fighting.

Yeah I doubt George's weed addiction played a part in pneumonia. Anyone can get it. No one under 50 is exempt from it.
