Yeah his voice is one of the best, people just don't sing like that anymore. My mom really liked him too in the 80's

The news over this is kinda ridiculous: rumors have reported that these things are happening:

  • George has heart troubles (denied)
  • George is dying from pneumonia (also denied)
  • George's life was saved by some "kinetic bed" (sounds sensational if you ask me)
  • George's voice would be damaged from treatment (eek!)
  • Some dumbasses last week said it was HIV or AIDS (obviously denied)
  • George might have a dangerous lung infection (hmm)

So who knows? But I saw his friend (or boyfriend or whatever) and he looked strained. I feel for him, George's family and Kenny Goss. I really don't know what to make of all that is happening since it's kinda fast.

My Mom asked me today if I thought it could be AIDS. I told her that even though George is known for being quite promiscous, that I would have to believe that he does keep him self tested, and be a little choosey in who he actually has sex with.

I doubt it's AIDS either. His haters wanna always state that. I just think he has a bad case of pneumonia and that's all there is to it. Anybody thinking it's something else is really reaching. Especially the "he won't sing anymore" rumor mongers.

Yeah, any time a guy who happens to be gay gets sick there are always rumors and questions as to whether it's AIDS or not. Given that George's first lover died of AIDS, I think he's probably been careful.

I would hope he was but we almost forget this was the same man who was having anonymous sex with strangers. Sometimes you don't know what they have but I hope for George's sake that he was careful enough not to catch anything. Because if he did then I would be sad that he was that irresponsible. headbang YES! HE'S OUT OF THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT! PROVE THE HATERS WRONG! GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE GEORGE! woot!

George Michael is 'recovering steadily'
Updated: 23:01, Thursday December 1, 2011

[img:$uid]http://202.58.40.60/elements/img/article/638x359/skynews_691821.jpg[/img:$uid]

George Michael is 'recovering steadily' in his battle against pneumonia.

The 'Careless Whisper' singer is currently in hospital in Vienna, Austria, but has been moved out of the intensive care unit as he showed a 'significant improvement' in his condition since he was admitted a week ago.

The 48-year-old singer had been in isolation, but his family and rumoured boyfriend Fadi Fawaz have now been able to join him as his condition improves.

In a joint statement Professors Gottfried Locker and Christoph Zielinski, of the AKH hospital where George is being treated, said: 'The latest development in Mr. Michael's case, which has evolved from a severe pneumococcal infection, necessitated intensive care due to its severity and extension.

'We are happy to announce that Mr Michael is improving. There are no other health issues with regards to the patient other than the underlying pneumonic disorder.

'Mr Michael is receiving precisely the same treatment as any ordinary patient in Austria would receive at the hospital for this disease.'

As well as Fadi, George has been joined in Austria by his 75-year-old father Kyriacos Panayiotou and older sisters Melanie, 49, and Yioda, 53. George's former boyfriend, Kenny Goss, is also thought to be flying out to join his family.

A family friend told the Daily Mail newspaper: 'His whole family are with him. They are very close knit all of them. The family are around him. They are such a close family I can't tell you. They all love each other.'

Another friend added: 'Kenny of course is very concerned. Kenny has been very supportive throughout this. He is planning to come. He's been in touch every single day. They are very close still. Kenny and George will always be the best of friends.'

Friends now hope the singer could be transferred to a British hospital before Christmas. George had to cancel the rest of his 'Symphonica Tour' after being taken ill.

here's one answer to ur question.

http://www.reuters.com/ar...0320070823

A common cause of pneumonia can kill by causing bleeding in the lungs, researchers said on Thursday in a finding that may explain why antibiotics fail to save many patients.

They found the bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae secretes a toxin that causes severe bleeding in the lungs in some patients, killing them within days.

The toxin is unaffected by antibiotics, which explains why the drugs often fail to save patients, the researchers reported in the journal Immunity.

Freddie was from a different era, though. He may have caught it long before they actually understood there was something to catch... and honestly, if GM was fooling around as much as I *think* he was - I almost believe he'd be long dead by now if he hadn't been at least somewhat careful.

Plus, if I found out the guy who sung Spinning The Wheel was playing unsafe I'd be seriously disappointed (unless maybe Kenny wrote those lyrics lol ).

That's real true. nod I'm guessing George learned from Freddie's mistakes on what not to do... he always practiced safe sex in his music if I'm not mistaken...
