I'm dying for this to drop already but I'm a little disappiointed that 'Dollar Or More' isn't on it! They said it would be some time back.

"you'll have to listen to all the way through, no skippies. just because it's not on the tracklist doesn't mean its not on the album.."

so it's probably a hidden track..

Most of those are the EP tracks and previously released track they did with other artists i saw 3 that are 'new' to me. Thanks for the link though.

It looks like J*DaVeY weren't toying with my emotions after all. After years and years of promises a long wait, New Designer Drug will indeed soon be within our grasps. And when I say soon, I mean within-the-next-two-weeks soon. The official street date for the duo's long-awaited album is November 22nd. According to their press release, the album will be released to iTunes for free in conjunction with their $2.99 diary-like digital booklet entitled New Designer Drug: The Liner Notes, which will feature tour photos, lyrics, and the story behind the making of NDD. To further whet appetites, the duo has released "Queen of Wonderland" as the album's lead single. We've already brought you the live version via PinBoardBlog's Rehearsal Rooms project. The album version features bass-guitar monster Thundercat and it, while not as heavy-hitting as it sounded in the video, still rocks pretty damn hard.

They have a very unique and cool sound. But once you've heard one J*Davey song,

you've heard 'em all.

"Sloooow" is super dope and all that I consider essential from their discography.

Yes - just like every Missy Elliott song or Aaliyah song sounds the same.

You think because you choose to mention a "slow" song and an "uptempo" song that

I would be forced to say that all of their songs don't sound the same but the fact of

the matter is is that they do sound the same: the same blissed out production values

mark all of their tunes. So that "Get Together" reminds me of "Mr Mister" with the

tempo pulled back.

J*Davey reminds me of "Girl" by Prince.

I'm not saying they aren't dope but that I'm betting that their new album will

sound like previous releases.

Yes, most of the Neptunes's songs all sound the same because of an original and unique

expression. This goes for their mid tempo tunes and their uptempo tunes.

And again, Get Together and Mr Mister obviously don't have the same melody and instru-mentation but they have the same production values so that they do sound the same. And

that is what I'm saying: they use the same production values all the time and as a result,

their tunes become linear, in my opinion.

I think you're arguing because you think I don't think they're dope. No - they are dope. I'm

arguing that one J*davey album isn't going to be any different from another J*Davey

album.
