All my tags are completely filled in, front & back covers, genre, release date, original date, rating, and comments. I even optimize the covers with Photoshop before including them in the tags. That cover art has gotta POP! Those covers were always too big a part of my music listening experience for me to neglect them in my digital files.

lol lol

And I thought I was very particular!

lol

I often spend more time maintaining my digital library than I do actually listening to the music, lol. But when I do decide to kick back and click a few buttons (...I use MediaMonkey to organize my files on the home PC) it's like MAGIC! I get swept away to another world, lol.

ANd if I've got more than one album per artist, I want it in chronological order too.

Six years ago I was practically Scrooge McDigital, but now I hold my simulated artwork even closer than would be required by Mr. Magoo.

Not just the album cover. I'm extremely anal about the way the song's title is written.

1. All words must capitalise even it is a word like "To"

2. If the song is a duet or feaures a very long rap (I ignore short raps) I put Feat. then the artist's name I.E: Scream Feat. Janet Jackson, 4 Minutes Feat. Justin Timberlake And Timberland

3. Put extra notes in parenthesis I.E Erotic City (Live From The 1984 Birthday Show), Like A Prayer (Immaculate Colection Remix)

4. Feat. goes before parenthesisunless track is demo for example Scream Feat. Janet Jackson (Remix), State Of Shock (Demo) Feat. Freddie Mercury

5.In case of MJ put Jackson 5 and Jacksons song under MichaelJackson but in parenthesis (at the end of the whole title) I.E ABC (Michael Jackson With Jackson 5) Can You Feel It (Michael Jackson With The Jacksons)

I'm the same way on that one, although sometimes I let it slide. I'm often conflicted on that issue because while I prefer the first letter of every word to be capitalized, technically I believe it's acceptable for certain prepositions in a title to be in all lower case. It's amazing; the little things that drive me nuts sometimes, lol.

Another one that throws me off is artists that use special characters in their name, like P!NK, MA$E, or ?uestlove, lol.
