I wasn't referring specifically to the original poster but to people in general. The Rolling Stones (specifically Mick and Keith) are a good example. They are constantly mocked for looking too old but if they had plastic surgery they would be mocked for that too. Seems like they just can't win.

Oh, okay...to me they're just people who are not cute, even in their youth they weren't great looking. I didn't realize that they were being clowned for looking old. I like seeing then and now pics so I can see how people have changed or not.
The funniest thing is when somebody posts un-retouched pics of Prince where his age shows even the tiniest bit and peeps flip out over it. Even though he still looks hella good, people act like it's the end of the world...
But I tell ya, guys who are rockers can look old or not be cute and still get paid big time. A female on the other hand, has an uphill battle these days if she's not considered hot looking. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

They didn't start to get into Keith's ass until the early to mid 1970s. Mick was always mocked for some reason lol if it wasn't the lips, it was the way he performed, if it wasn't that, it was something else.

Based on the pictures it is obvious what he considers "classic".

He didn't use the term "Classic". That's what I decided to add and use as a thread title. I simply used the photos because they were already well formatted.
Yes, his photos are of all white artists. But as you see, this thread has eclipsed that.

I thought it was refering to "Classic Rock" radio stations, although some of the acts you posted from the article would not really fit that format. In general, their playlist is mostly white acts (except Hendrix & Santana), as "rock" is considered "white" music by some people.
