yeah he was doing the running man (guess you can't "Dougie" and "Cat Daddy" in those jeggings) but he was looking very much like Vanilla Ice, I was like "alright stop, collaborate and listen!"

lol

You know what I have always wonder? I REALLY wonder what legends like Stevie Wonder, Prince, Aretha, Bob Dylan etc REALLY think of this fuckery BEHIND the camera... one can only imagine what is going through their mind... I know they say that b.s. for t.v. but they know this crap on t.v is a joke behind closed doors when they have their reunions and dinner table talk... they just have to cause I know I am 19 I can just image someone at 57, 52, 60 thinking this shit we call music and award shows today is just sad

I guess I didn't miss anything huh? lol Those artists and the like probably don't even tune into this crap, knowing the acts aren't worth their time. Those glory days are long gone. I was an addict to these award shows from the 80's and 90's but I care less and less every year as the nominated artist grows less and less talented. lol Funny how that works lol

Okay so I just came back from Janetxone and they had a clip from the AMA's and they show all the Divas of the past years. Can someone please tell me why Beyonce is in this video? The clip goes back in time at all the past female legends that have performed at the AMA's like Tina, Janet, Madonna, Celin, Whitney, etc... Im trying to grasp why is Beyonce included in the video... this is really starting to scare me now are they honestly trying to make Beyonce out to be some kind of legend??? Why are they doing this.. Its so not fair to the REAL legends that exactly changed music and performances.. I hate the music industry

We know how Prince feels about it. lol Aretha and Dylan possibly feel the same way. But Stevie's got no excuse. He collaborated with fucking Drake! lol

Yeah and stevie cant use the "blind" excuse, if he was deaf that would be a different story, though Drake does like a total goofball especially when he wears that collar up and tries to look like DRAKE-CULA

I always watch the music awards shows for the performances and I don't care who wins the awards. lol Obviously, the last decade has featured mostly lame and pathetic performances, but it seems like it gets worse every year disbelief

-I thought Kelly Clarkson, The Band Perry, Marc Anthony and Mary J. Blige all sounded pretty good.

-Katy Perry was actually OK for her standards (some of her live performances are just pitiful).

-Maroon 5 was OK but Adam Levine generally sucks live. Christina sounded fine but damn if you gain weight like she did YOU DO NOT WEAR A TIGHT LITTLE WHITE DRESS THAT MAKES YOU LOOK PREGNANT disbelief

-Jennifer Lopez looked hot in her outfit and she always was a great dancer but that "Dance For Your Papi" or whatever it's called song sucks ass.

-that song from Will. I. Am featuring JLo and Mick Jagger was really bad lol The visuals were cool but the actual lyrics and vocals? Horrible from all 3.

-I would like to ban Drake, LMFAO, David Guetta and Pitbull from making music ever again.

-If Justin Bieber had just sang his own song and then stayed in the audience, I would have been OK. The idea of him coming out again later in the show to try dancing in tight yellow zebra pants with LMFAO was just shake Don't get me started on Hasselhoff...

Well "these kids" are controlling the AMA's. sad

Now you understand how Phil Collins felt about the state of the Grammy Awards Show these days. It that out of place feeling that no elder should have to deal with at all.

"These Kids" at the 2011 AMA is the current generation of recording artists at the moment. Any true fan of real talent would not dare put this generation in the same sentence with previous generations.

Like Aretha Franklin ain't shit!

Aretha is THE only true Queen Of Soul. If you don't know this, then stick with listen to Rihanna & Ke$ha because you don't know anything about the ways of the old-school.

And I have no sympathies for young people that refuse to get off their lazy asses to study their music history.

Both of you should have seen this coming the moment Taylor Swift & Justin Bieber (2010 AWA winners) were invited AND nominated in 2011.

Why the hell are you guys watching this foolishness in the first place? You only help the media when you tune in folks... thats not fixing the problem thats helping it...

I've said the same thing about ALL music awards shows throughout the 2000's & 2010's.

I didn't watch AWA at all (I don't have a TV anyway! wink ). I only know about a few of the resuits from my fellow orgers talking about it.

THIS is the same Stevie Wonder that did a track with 98 Degrees (remember that boy band?). Yes, you can make a fair argument that 98 Degrees didn't suck like Drake does, but that's beside the point.

Stevie is at a point in his career that he will sell-out once in a while if it means he can be in the spotlight a little while longer.

Prince sold-out by being with Beyonce a few years back. And Vainandy was THE only orger with the balls to called Prince AND his fans/stans/fams out on that bullshit? Oh come on! disbelief lol

Yes, Beyonce can sing like Prince said. But Beyonce's choice of producers/beatmakers are responsible for the below average tracks that has been put on the market in recent years. Listen to Rihanna's tracks if you want further evidences.

At least Aretha was brave to let the young generation know that she is THE only true queen and not Tina Turner, which was pure dis-info that Beyonce put out.
