There's NOBODY like Toni...And NOBODY can wear a dress like Toni...It was either Face or L.A. Reid that said when they saw the "shoot" for "High" it was if they was looking at Toni for the first time..
Toni's mom still visits her relatives in the small town where I grew up . I never met Toni but my aunts did a long time ago when the Braxtons use to visit. My deceased Grandmother was friends with Toni's grandmother and several relatives in their family. My Grandmother went to Toni's Grandmother's funeral and said Toni showed up, viewed the body and left. My Grandmother said Toni looked like a Gorgeous "China Doll"..
I went to High-school with a few of Toni's first cousins. They said all they got from Toni was signed pictures...LOL...They didn't say it an ungrateful way but I "laughed" to myself when they told me...
I said to myself "Damn Cousin-Toni couldn't hook y'all up with some Concert Tickets, or a trip to The Soul Train Awards or something"....LOL... | |
