Robin Thicke Concert: Should I go?

I know some folks who are going to meet up and go to Robin Thicke's concert when he rolls through my city. The thing is, even though I think he's really sexy and enjoy most of his music, I wonder if he's worth paying money to see LIVE. Can he actually sing live? Have any of you seen him in concert live? I really hang on to my pennies tightly and would only spend money on a concert ticket it if it's worthwhile! Thoughts? smile

I saw him open for maxwell and thought he put on a really good show. If you can afford it go.

I saw him open for Beyonce years ago, I'm sure he's grown from that though he performed well.

Same thing I've heard in the past too....ain't it sad that you can't even go to a show without wondering, "Yeah but can they sing?" lol

I've seen him live and wasn't impressed. It was about 3 years ago. His showmanship could have possibly improved since then, but I won't waste another dime seeing him live.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I saw him last year when he opened for Alicia Keys.

He was ok. I wouldn't go to a concert where he was the headliner because I'm not a true fan of his. But if he opened for someone I wanted to see I wouldn't be mad about seeing him again. I said all that just to say - if you're a true fan you will enjoy!!! He did not embarrass himself.

He closed with "Lost Without You" - that got all of us on our feet and singing along biggrin . The highlight of the show for me.

Yeah I like Robin but spending money to see a person perform that you're not totally crazy about might be a bit risky...I usually only spend money to see Prince (of course), Lenny K or someone else like that...oddly enough, I've only been to concerts who headline male performers and not females lol...
