Maroon 5's cover of 1999..

They've done Darling Nikki, Purple Rain and now this. I don't like it. Sounds awful confused

I think it sounds pretty damn good. I've heard way worse covers, this stayed pretty true to the track, plus Adam totally gets what is great about Prince.

Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Adam has confessed his love for P in the past and many of his songs are definitly influenced by Prince. Not a horrible cover and yeah who is the chica??

As far as ringing endorsements, this is mostly a bath tub, or shoplifting ring. Who is answering? Not Mick Jagger, bitches. I like and respect Adam Levine in a whole bunch of ways - I think he is an awesome person - just not as a singer. As a singer I do not care for him, and I don't understand M5's popularity beyond his personality and phenomenal good looks.

I agree! His voice is ONE-NOTE and boring as all hell. Whiny and thin too and he uses subtle pitch correction.

Adam Levine: Naked for Cancer Awareness!

Adam Levine goes naked for a good cause!

With only a pair of female hands covering up Adam’s dirty bits, the 31-year-old Maroon 5 frontman stripped down to encourage men to check for signs of prostate and testicular cancer.

Check out hot hot hot pictures of Adam Levine in the February 2011 issue of UK’s Cosmopolitan!

Adam’s girlfriend — Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna — is one lucky lady!

I was at their concert when they did Purple Rain cover. Can't find that instrumental cover on youtube but it was pretty good. But this 1999 cover is disappointing. Sounds like bad karaoke version of 1999 and the chick just can't sing shake I don't know her name sowwy
