Jamie West-Oram is a very underrated rhythm guitarist. Great guitar sound.

Is this the group that had a song called One Thing Leads To Another, or something like that. I don't remember the exact title, but it used to get played a lot on the radio. That's the only song I've heard.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Man i love the Fixx. I like all them 80's bands. Bands like Split Enz, Talk Talk, B-52's, Romeo Void, Ultravox, Soft Cell,Thomas Dolby, Big Country, ABC, Human League, ect. They were all good but the Fixx are my favourite by far.

HUGE fan of The Fixx. Have all of their albums. "Phantoms" is without question one of the most underrated and overlooked rock albums of the 80s. Terrific band.

Unfortunately, this may be another act (like Thomas Dolby) where many people get stuck on the "hit".
Possibly when the band didn't do a One Thing Leads To Another Pt.2 on their Phantoms album, interest dropped off.

One of the more interesting bands to come out of the 80s for me.
