IMHO both at their peak were pure hype.

No offence but that's really hysterical coming from a madonna fan falloff

They're a billion times better and more interesting than she ever was

They actually have talent and are capable of making music

hmm yet she managed to have lasting success, unlike both the previously mentioned acts.

I don't know how many people feel the way that I do about the Chili Peppers, but when John left the band again, I lost interest.

that's the thing right here..it seems the chilli peppers can't do anything without john but i like their latest and the same goes 4 lenny.

I haven't been able to get into anything after Blood Sugar Sex Magic... Something happened after 1993.. they just stopped being a funk band and I guess I just never readapted to their new style.

Change it one more time..

I really loved Lenny's new album, but the RHCP's was boring, just like Stadium Arcadium. Played it a couple times and couldn't really distinguish one song from another, and couldn't tell you anything about it really other than it's totally bland.

After hearing Van Hunt's magnum opus, Lenny Kravitz oughta be ashamed of himself.

And both bands haven't been interesting or really musically relevant since 1996.

Incorrect

They both had number 1 albums & top 10 hits in 1999, Lenny had more hits & 3 top 10 albums in the 00's

RHCP Had top 40 singles & 2 number 1 albums in the 00's.. not musically relevant get the fuck outta here lol

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

My thoughts exactly! Lenny's latest is good. I couldn't care less how many it sold. Selling records doesn't mean it's good. I'm sure Lenny cares, but in reality, most of the music that does sell big sucks.

I love the new RHCP album. Sure, I miss John, but if you listen to the album with an open mind and just accept that he's not there anymore, then there's some really great songs to be found.

And Raindance Maggie is definately my favourite single of 2011!
